For my amazing friends. For my family that puts up with me. For the privilege of my education. For getting the opportunity to intern at some really cool places. For conversations with my brilliant and amazing professors. For classes that remind me why I love school and what I’m studying. For my parents trusting that I have some (semblance of an) idea of what I’m doing. For dance parties in the rain. For Macklemore concerts with a fantastic combination of people. For laughter-filled conversations that offer a pick-me-up right when I need it. For people who somehow understand/cut through the crazy. For your patience and willingness to open your arms to me. For winks and too-close smiles. For staying in my warm and comfy bed until 1 in the afternoon. For people who make me smile, especially when I can’t help it.
For growing, at least a little bit. For getting some of my mojo back this quarter, and pursuing almost everything I wanted to do. I’m grateful.
Happy Thanksgiving, babies.
Our rushed conversation as the rain pitter-patters around us
H: Can I just say one last thing before you leave?
Me : Yeah what?
H: You look really good today.
Me, laughing: Stop. Shut up, I’m leaving now.

I marinated chicken tonight. And sauted it. And baked it. This makes me strangely happy.
I also have a super high ponytail right now.
